Guido Lara

A distinguished qualitative research and strategic communications consultant, Guido splits his time between Washington, D.C., and Mexico City. With over 30 years of experience, he has led numerous high-impact projects, including presidential campaigns, public policy evaluations, and brand positioning strategies. Notably, he spearheaded the creation of the iconic Mexico brand.
Guido holds a Ph.D. summa cum laude in Communication Theory and Social Research Methods from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
As an educator, Guido has taught at esteemed institutions, including Universidad Iberoamericana, ITAM, and Georgetown University. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Market Research Institute International.
Co-author of Comunicación Política y Democracia with Adriana Arizpe, he co-directed the series Sueños y Aspiraciones de los Mexicanos published in NEXOS. Follow him on X @guidolara and in his regular contributions to Animal Político and El Financiero (TV and print).

Laura Velamazán

A dedicated consultant specializing in market research and public opinion, Laura has a passion for arts and culture.
With two decades of experience, she has conducted groundbreaking studies on communication, user experience, and satisfaction, with a strong focus on the financial sector.
Laura is the Communication Committee Coordinator at AMAI (Mexican Association of Market and Opinion Intelligence Agencies) and serves as the second vice president of AVE (Alliance for the Strategic Value of Brands).
She has consulted for the Marketing Committee of the Communication Council and frequently speaks at major forums like Insights Innovation Exchange (Lima) and Talkin’ Latam. Laura has also been an EFFIE Mexico jury member multiple times.

Aline Ross

Aline is a seasoned communications specialist and consultant in qualitative research and public opinion. A feminist deeply committed to social issues, she brings 23 years of expertise in political communication, electoral strategy, social program evaluation, and gender studies. Her work has taken her across Mexico, where she engages with communities to understand their lives and aspirations.
Aline has spoken at esteemed events such as ECOSOC at the UN and the IDB International Base Forum. She also contributed to the renovation of Papalote Museo del Niño as a Content Advisory Committee consultant.
Aline has pursued advanced studies in leadership, semiotics, and audience analysis. She was named Government Strategist of the Year at Reed Latino 2019. Follow her on X @Alinerossg.

Karina Vega

Karina Is a highly skilled consultant in qualitative and prospective research, bringing over 15 years of experience to the table. She has spearheaded numerous projects, delivering impactful branding, marketing, and communication strategies for renowned Mexican and global clients. Her expertise spans diverse sectors, including retail, hygiene, beauty, and food, where her insights have been transformative. Karina’s leadership as president of the Business Intelligence Committee at IAB highlights her commitment to advancing industry standards. She is a frequent speaker at esteemed forums such as Insights Innovation Exchange (Medellín), Conexión LATAM, and IAB Conecta, sharing her perspectives on innovation and consumer insights. Karina co-authored the 2024 article Reimagining Lotería: Participatory Futures and Cultural Renewal in Mexico, published in the Journal of Future Studies. Academically, she holds a Bachelor’s in Communication and a Master’s in Digital Governance. She has earned specializations in Design of Tomorrow and Interactive Marketing and completed advanced programs in Digital Transformation, Women in Leadership, and Creative Problem-Solving. Rosario Zavala

Rosario Zavala is a distinguished qualitative research consultant and communication advisor recognized for her human-centered methodologies.
With more than 15 years of experience, Rosario has led innovative projects in the mass consumption, retail, and finance sectors, excelling in advertising design, user experience, and cultural exploration. Her leadership was pivotal in Mexican Women and Their Beauty Signs, the first comprehensive study examining beauty standards in Mexico.
Rosario is deeply committed to promoting diversity and inclusion. She serves on AVE’s Equality and Inclusion Committee and previously coordinated AMAI’s Equality Committee, advocating for equitable practices in marketing and communication.
